The Growth Ramp Gap Analysis Process & Methodology

“Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.” - Sun Tzu, The Art of War

Every battle is won before it is fought.

If you want a powerful growth strategy to dominate your market, then you need the Growth Ramp Gap Analysis.

The Gap Analysis is like a road map for your startup. It gives you clarity where you are now, where you plan to go, and the steps to get there. And fast.

It’s not uncommon for the Gap Analysis to show you potent opportunities hiding in plain sight. Here is what our Gap Analysis process looks like:

1. Gap Analysis Homework

After applying to Growth Ramp and deciding we are a good fit for each other, you will receive some homework with a few simple questions. This information will provide the starting point for our strategy consultation.

You will need to complete the assignment one week after paying for our service.

We cannot proceed without this information.

2. Learning the Landscape

Many marketers fail because they do not understand where your business is now, and where it is going.

In our phone consultation, we will go over 50 questions to understand all aspects of your business. The covers will allow us to do a dive deep into your:

Your answers will give Growth Ramp the insight needed to create a strategy to double your sales.

3. Mapping The Strategy

After our call, I will map out the best path to growing your startup.

While nothing in life is guaranteed, using benchmark data I can give a rough estimation of what will deliver the highest ROI.

With this information in hand, you will have a clear roadmap to scaling your business fast.

4. Use of Energy

With the strategy in hand, I will discuss the plan with you and your co-founders.

In this 45-minute consultation, we will examine your threats and opportunities. We’ll also go look at the competition so you avoid investing energy where they are strong, and strike gold in opportunities they’ve overlooked.

It’s common to find opportunities between $853,000 and $2,190,000 revenue per year with the Gap Analysis.

At the end of this consultation, you will decide if you would like to continue working with Growth Ramp to put this strategy into action.

5. Positioning For Success (To Dominate the Market)

The majority of startups I’ve looked at lack a clear position in the minds of your customers. As a result, your startup struggles to rise above the competition.

That’s not to say you won’t make money. I’ve audited prominent and profitable startups funded by Y Combinator that lacked a clear position strategy. But it means what you invest in business growth will be significantly slower.

Let me ask you this: If having a better product was enough, why do inferior products win?

Because prominent positioning is about being different, not better. If a customer does not know why you are different, it becomes a guessing game to the customer.

Once your startup is positioned to dominate the market, we will put the tactics into place to see you succeed.
